Specialty Insect Screen Mesh

    OVERVIEW

    TWP INC was featured in the New York Times article on screen porches. These specialty meshes are used in a wide range of industrial, commercial, and high-end residential applications. We provide these meshes in stainless steel, bright bronze (90% copper and 10% tin), and copper.

    • Bronze insect screen is used in the restoration of antique home windows and door screens and in high-end trophy homes and ship port holes.

    Insect Screen - Choosing

    Bronze mesh is the color of a bright penny when first woven. It will gradually patina to a dark brown. In an outdoor environment, this discoloration will become pronounced as soon as six months at the seashore and longer in drier conditions. This is the most popular insect screening that we sell.

    Copper mesh is the least durable of our insect screens. It will gradually patina to a green verdigris.

    Stainless steel insect screen is physically the strongest and most corrosion resistant with almost an unlimited life.

    * Since the color of bronze and copper mesh are affected by the atmosphere, we try to package carefully to protect the color as much as possible but we still cannot guarantee a uniformed, brilliant polished finish when you receive it.

    Insect Screen - Samples

    TWP Inc. will provide samples for your testing and inspection. The sample size is 3 inches by 3 inches. The cost is $8 per sample ordered (plus UPS Charges about $3.00 total for up to 10 samples by UPS ground - USA). For the quickest service, please order your samples on-line.
